Welcome ! Welcome to the Gigabits for Lexington website. Although started in support of Lexington's application to become one of the towns in the Google Fiber For Communities trial, we would like to continue this website whether or not we win this opportunity to explore the next generation of speed for Internet communications. [Note: The registration facility described in this paragraph is not implemented yet, although it is our intent to open up participation in the future] Although this website will be available for all to read, we encourage you to register with us so that you can join in the creative process and contribute new articles for discussion. To do that, please fill out the registration form. Once we have approved this application, you will be able to compose your own articles about ideas for what you would do with the ability to communicate 1,000 times faster than is common today. As a start, we have created several articles describing the Town of Lexington and how we are currently stretching our current use of existing bandwidths in anticipation of the future.
